The difference between progressive sex-negativity and moralistic sex-negativity lies in the misogynistic and disempowering agenda of sexual moralism. Let’s casually dive in.
It feels kind of like when normies rush into a music scene and kill it. The people who were there actually want the scene to exist (in this case the kinksters) and then everyone discovers how much fun they're having.
I think there are many unexplored aspects of what modern relationships could look like without sex shaming or in response to the pressures of a more-open sex landscape... But instead it seems like we ONLY have polygamous people, kinksters and reactionary-anti-sex traditionalists trying to win converts.
An additional question. How many of the posts on this topic are by men? I stopped paying much attention, but there WAS a complete lack of hetero-male-perspective in sex-positivity spaces when I was slutting it up for years; with the exception of fawning repetition of twitter-feminism sex-positivity. Has that changed?
I always thought that a middle-ground would be less confusing if there were hetero men who also got included in the conversation about what sex-positivity should look like without having to entirely capitulate to women who write blog posts.
I spent too much time having fun to write blog posts about it, but I know there is a different angle on self-interested-in-a-male-way-while-listening-to-women-about-how-to-be-good that would probably play well and explain some of the missing pieces; but it's not worth the effort to write posts and get screamed down on the internet.
Here’s a male perspective. I enjoy moderately capitulating to sex positive, feminist women. It’s fun and very enjoyable. What’s the big deal?
hi unrelated to this post but i just saw in your bio you are “straight queer”…. what’s that mean to you ?
I finally have to put that explanation online I guess
well, it’s in your bio…

Your voice on that topic is more vital now than ever. The only substantial voices in that space from the male side at the moment are Red Pill types.
